Aims of Our Committee

To support teachers and students in applying IT in teaching and learning
To enhance teachers' and students' capabilities to use IT in teaching and learning
To create better environment to facilitate the use of IT in teaching and learning
To support teachers and staff to use IT in school administration
To set up policies for users in using school IT equipment
To enhance users' awareness of legal, social and ethical responsibilities involved when using IT

To provide IT supports to departments, committees, teams and school office
To provide IT training and workshops to staff and students
To maintain school IT infrastructure, such as servers, computers, wired and wireless networks
To maintain different IT services, such as school website, intranet system, internet connection, e-services, printing, etc
To lead two student IT support teams, including IT prefects and school campus TV team (FBI)
To liaise with EDB, QEF and various external bodies for different schemes and projects
To set up policies and procedures in using IT equipment in school
To coordinate with different parties in school to purchase IT equipment for learning, teaching and school administration
To make recommendation to school adopting IT in Education in learning and teaching
